THE CREATION
The story of creation is one of the amazing story. It talks of How God brought into being the things, people and animals we see around. Many have come up with stories to try disapprove that but none has overtaken the Bible story. A few lessons from this story are:
1. God created seed bearing plants and trees that bear seeds in them. He also created man and told him to multiply and fill the earth. The animals were to follow suit.God didn’t have to fill the earth with seeds and people. In His own wisdom He let them fill the earth through the seed that He made them to grow. In reality God is the one who enables both to accomplish their mission. Physically the reason why we keep on increasing is coz of the seed. God values every seed coz they originate from Him. We are kept to increase and fill the earth. That’s why marriage is a very important institution. Spiritually we are also meant to increase. Get one spiritual child help him/her grow , then continue with the assignment. The reason why God may have allowed the apostels to be persecuted was that they could scatter and then through that the whole world would get to know of the risen Christ. God loves fruitfulness. I pray that we may bear good fruits and fruits that will last. That we may increase preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. That we may have many disciples and disciplers in Christ. That as Abraham was promised that his descendants would be like the sand of the sea, that would become real in our generation.
2. That God gave authority to man to rule over the animals and take care of everything. When man sinned that authority was not withdrawn. Something important with authority is that it has to be exercised. Man exercised it by naming the animals and the plants among other things. He still continues to do so this days. God has delegated His authority to us and must be used responsibly. Let use it as if it is God exercising it. That’s why man obeyed the snake- a creature that He had authority over- he had to be chased out of the garden of Eden. Would He have exercised His authority , he would not have sinned against God. The bible tells us for those that believe in Christ, we have authority to trapple over snakes and scorpions, over the powers of darkness, over the pricipalties of the devil. We should exercise this authority so that we can live victorias life.
